Melissa Kopp-Smith is the Executive Secretary at Rotary International District 7390. She will visit our club to introduce the functionalities of Club Runner. Aaron serves as the CEO of LogosWorks and Logos Academy and Lead Pastor of Living Word Community Church. He holds an M.Ed in Urban Educational Leadership from Lehigh University, an MA in Religion from Reformed Theological Seminary, and a Bachelor of Religion from Liberty University. 

He is also the CEO of the York County Safety Collab with a successful partnership program called "Chiefs and Clergy". He and the Safety Collab Director Jamie Noerpel, PhD will be presenting on this iniative and how it came to be. 

Greg Rothman was elected to the State Senate in November 2022 to represent the people of the 34th Senate District, which includes Cumberland and Perry counties and northern Dauphin County. He previously represented the 87th Legislative District in the House of Representatives. 

Rothman chairs the Senate Game and Fisheries Committee, which helps manage and protect the commonwealth’s natural resources and considers legislation affecting hunting, fishing and conservation. He is also a member of the Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Banking and Insurance, Education, Finance, Rules and Executive Nominations, and Transportation committees.

He is the former president and CEO of RSR REALTORS, where he began as a real estate sales agent in 1989. Under his leadership, the company grew to become one of the largest real estate businesses in Central Pennsylvania. 

Prior to his public service, Rothman enlisted in the Marine Corps during Operation Desert Storm. He served nearly 10 years in the Marine Corps Reserve, rising to the rank of staff sergeant before being honorably discharged in 2001. His service led the president of the United States to appoint him to the National Veterans Business Development Corporation board to encourage veterans to start entrepreneurial ventures. 

Rothman is a graduate of Cumberland Valley High School and holds an undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst and a Master of Science degree in real estate from Johns Hopkins University. 

He previously served as a trustee at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology and as a board member of the Boys and Girls Club of Harrisburg. He was one of the five founders of the Harrisburg Young Professionals.

Becky is a proud native of the Lehigh Valley, hailing from Allentown, PA. She ventured to Central Pennsylvania for her college education and completed her undergraduate degree at Millersville University. Following this, Becky embarked on a professional journey that led her to public schools in Augusta, GA, before finding her way back to the Hershey Area, where she currently resides in Palmyra with her husband, Doug. Dedicating her career to the service of children and families in the field of Early Childhood Education, Becky boasts over fourteen years of experience. Her professional trajectory has included various teaching roles and leadership as a childcare center director. Presently, Becky holds a Lead Teacher position with Catherine Hershey Schools for Early Learning. Becky's involvement with Rotary began with an alternate meeting hosted by the Rotary Club of Palmyra in 2018. Since joining, she served as Club President for two consecutive years. At the district level, she currently holds the position of Assistant Governor for Group C. Additionally, Becky actively contributes to various committees, including the District DEI Committee, Safety Committee, and Four-Way Speech Contest Committee. She is a member of the Paul Harris Society. Educationally, Becky is a graduate of Millersville University, holding a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She has also earned a Graduate Certificate in Early Childhood Pedagogy from the University of Colorado. Her qualifications include Pennsylvania Teaching Certificates for Kindergarten through 6th grade and Nursery through Kindergarten, along with a Pennsylvania Director’s Credential.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Becky enjoys cooking, gardening, hiking, volunteering, and exploring new facets of her community.

I joined ESWCPA in the fall of 2023. The first 25 years of my professional life were spent coaching volleyball first at Loyola University in Baltimore and then almost 20 years at York College. After leaving the athletic world I wanted to get more involved in my community. Easterseals is the second non-profit I have worked with, the first being Community Progress Council.

I currently volunteer on Monday evenings at the downtown YMCA instructing the girls intramural volleyball program and am a member of the Uptown York Rotary Club and The Women’s Networking Group.

My husband Steve and I met at Juniata College and have been married for 34 years. We have lived in the same house in York since 1992 and raised four children here: Nicholas, Luke, Jake and Georgia. We are empty nesters with our kids living all over the country, Sacramento, Indianapolis, Philadelphia and Raleigh.
