Jordan Ames, Program Director, Veterans Outreach of Pennsylvania

Veteran's Outreach of Pennsylvania is specifically designed to meet the unique needs of Veterans while recreating the stable support network last offered to them before they left the service. Currently, VOPA is in the midst of a capital campaign to build a tiny home community for homeless veterans.

Located on the Susquehanna River in South Harrisburg on a donated and beautifully situated 5-acre parcel, VOPA plans to build a village of 15 tiny homes surrounding a community center for homeless veterans.

Jordan is a 21-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps with an impressive career that includes many special assignments, USMC firsts as well as multiple deployments. You can read more about Jordan by clicking here.

In the interest of time and knowledge, Jordan has asked club members to view the VOPA informational video prior to Thursday's meeting.
ICYMI (in case you missed it)...

The collaborative Pints for Polio event on October 19 raised $550 towards Rotary's efforts to eradicate polio. Participants raised $427.50 and Snappers contributed an additional $122.50.

If you happen to be at Snappers in the future, be sure to thank them for their support!
