Pints for Polio - THIS WEDNESDAY!
We all need to eat. Why not do so at Snappers Bar & Grill on October 19 from 5:00-8:00 pm?
The owners of Snappers will donate 10% of the evening's proceeds to Rotary's efforts to eradicate polio when you show the Pints for Polio flyer. This is a joint event among the Rotary Clubs of West Shore, Mechanicsburg North, Yellow Breeches, and District 7390 Passport Club.
How can you help?
Plan on dinner and drinks at Snappers on October 19.
Invite a friend of family member to join you.
Share the event with others!
Can't make that date? Check out the other Pints for Polio opportunities around the District.
Vickie's Angel Walk
It was a brisk and sunny morning on October 8, but walkers participating in Vickie's Angel Walk were happy to find water and candy along their route. A huge thank you to club members Rod Hite, Paulette Rovito, George Connolly, and Tim & Bim Arthun for helping out with the event!
Call for Nominations / Elections
Per the Rotary Club of West Shore Bylaws, elections for officers must be held at least one month prior to the end of the calendar year. Additionally, nominations are due one month prior to elections (November 1, 2022). Since we only meet twice a month, we will plan to vote via Survey Monkey.
If anyone is interested in running for club officer, please make your interest known by November 1, 2022.
Everyone is welcome (and encouraged) to run for office!

Did you know that October 20 is Office
Chocolate Day? How appropriate since we have some Hershey bars left over from Vickie's Angel Walk that will be at Thursday's "office" meeting!

Following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Olena Morhun fled with three of her children and made her way to Puławy, Poland. There they were welcomed by Krystyna Wilczyńska-Ciemięga, one of many Rotary members who have opened their homes to refugees.
