Melahat Asude Akdemir is a graduating senior from Criminal Justice program at Penn State Harrisburg. As an honor student and award winner, she will discuss her research projects, work and passion in giving back to the community.
Melahat recently presented her undergraduate honors thesis research to legislators at the PA State Capitol. Through this presentation, she shared her findings on the prevalence of PERMA-H (Positive emotions, engagement, relationships, meaning, accomplishment, health) among police officers in PA and its implications with key decision-makers.
Rotary Means Business
The Rotary Clubs of Harrisburg and Harrisburg Keystone will host and sponsor the Diamond Jubilee 75th RMB networking event in Rotary District 7390.
When: Wednesday, May 7 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Where: Capital Blue Cross Connect (Hampton Marketplace, 4500 Marketplace Way, Enola, PA).
