September 2022 - The 2022 Flags for Heroes Dedication Ceremony was held on Monday, September 12, 2022. As in previous years, we began with the Presentation of Colors which was done by the Redland High School JROTC. Once again, Mr. Matthew A. Robinson amazed us with his voice as he sang the National Anthem. The ceremony concluded with a very emotional playing of Taps by Dr. Bill Stowman, Chair of the Music Department at Messiah University. As event emcee, Dennis Owens from ABC27, reminded us of the sacrifices made by our heroes, and speaker Dave Apgar from the Camp Hill Fire Department provided examples of heroes all around us.
